Kaukauna has the opportunity to become the sixth team in Wisconsin high school history to win three consecutive WIAA state championships, according to NBC 26.
With a 78-game winning streak, Kaukauna’s softball team headed to the state tournament for a third-straight season and is going for a three-peat in Division I. The Ghosts defeated Waterford yesterday 6-0, sending them to the semifinal game tonight. They are one game away from securing their spot in the championship.
The team won back-to-back championships in 2021 and 2022, and they had a perfect record of 31-0 last year. As the number one team in Division I, the Ghosts haven’t lost a game so far this season.
Kaukauna will play Oak Creek in the WIAA Division I State Tournament Semifinals today, June 9, at 9pm.
