Cordell Tinch, a Bay Port graduate who has had an amazing track & field career so far, will have a chance to represent Team USA at the World Championships in Hungary this August, according to WFRV.

According to WFRV, the three events he won were the 110-meter hurdles, long jump, and high jump. Tinch then went on to become the NCAA-II National Field Athlete of the Year.
Last weekend, Tinch competed at the 2023 USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships, where he qualified for Team USA. He competed in the 110-meter hurdles, placing 2nd in the event and finishing with a time of 12:08, according to WFRV.
